The Indiana Windows User Group (IWUG) is a group of individuals wishing to maximize their common experience, namely the use of Microsoft Windows in the business realm. Its the Kentucky JavaScript Users Group. Doesn't that just say it all?
The Dayton Dynamic Language User Group is primarily focused on, as you can tell by the name, dynamic languages. If you're interested in Ruby (including Rails), Python (including Django), PHP, Perl, Javascript, Scheme, Lisp, Smalltalk, etc, this is probably the place for you. We try not to talk specifically about things like C and Java, but there are no hard and fast rules (especially if you're comparing them to a dynamic language).
There is PHP in Louisville. As such, it's time to restart the PHP User Group. Our first meeting was Wednesday, May 30th. During which we reviewed talks from PHP|tek 12 and promptly named the group LouPUG. An acronym for Louisville PHP User Group. The plan is to meet the last Wednesday of each month.
